About This Café
Sol’s Place in Ponsonby is a cool, welcoming café with a cosy, character-filled interior that’s popular with laptop users. Inside can get a little busy, but the vibe is friendly and relaxed, and working customers are clearly welcome. There’s also a cute garden area out the back, though the Wi-Fi only reaches the indoor space.
Power isn’t widely available, but there is a socket by the piano in the corner if you need a top-up. All up, it’s a great little spot to perch with a laptop in Ponsonby, especially for shorter sessions when you want good energy and a welcoming atmosphere.
