About This Café
The Garden Café is a remote worker’s dream. There’s heaps of power, seriously fast internet, and a relaxed setup that makes settling in effortless. Set against beautiful views of the surrounding hills around Lake Taupō, with glimpses of the lake itself, it’s a genuinely inspiring place to work from.
The vibe is classic Kiwiana bach, laid-back and welcoming, with lots of outdoor seating and even a kids’ climbing frame. Calm, spacious and incredibly well set up for laptops, it has to be one of the top spots for remote workers in Taupō, if not all of New Zealand.
