The Coffee Club Redwoods Centre

The Coffee Club at Redwoods Centre in Rotorua is a popular suburban café with a steady local crowd and a familiar, relaxed feel. The layout is a little tight in places, so it can feel snug to move through when it’s busy. There are some power outlets available, though they’re tucked away behind the leather seats and can be easy to miss. Staff are usually happy to help point them out, but these spots are popular so access to power isn’t always guaranteed.

Free Wi-Fi is available, though the customer network can be a bit hit-and-miss at times. On our visit, staff were kind enough to allow access to the admin Wi-Fi, which is where the tested internet speeds came from. With plenty of parking at the centre, it’s still a convenient option for a short work session, meeting or coffee stop outside the city centre.
